READY TO SEE SOMETHING DIFFERENT????

shannon brown Jul 25, 2009 03:08 AM

o.k. well I am very happy with what hatched out today.I expected some pretty serious aberrant and/or patternless babies.Well, only 2 of the 6 are out of the egg so far but I can see them pretty good in the eggs and they all look pretty normal except this one.
Yes, this is a spotted blanchardi.I have no idea if its genetic and since there is heavy aberrant genes in these its really hard to say if its just a aberrant snake rather than a true spotted.Time will tell cause this one will stay here for sure.

you can still see the egg tooth on this one.

this one could be aberrant,we will have to wait and see.I like how the nape ring is broke and un-even.Some have perfect nape bands on them.

perfect nape band.

Hope you liked them.I sure enjoy working with these guys.

holy crap, kind of speachless on that spotted blanchardi! Very nice Shannon. You don't see many of those out there. Ed will be happy to hear you hatched these out.

These are prety small snakes Ray.My adults are only about 32-36 inches long. They are very fosssorial as well.
