Aberrant jani hatchling

Steve G Jul 25, 2009 09:19 AM

Striping is not uncommon in the deppei complex, but this neonate is exceptional. I was checking my eggs this morning, as they had begun dimpling lately, and this one was simply coiled in the corner of the box. The color in the pic is a little off toward the dark side. I'll take some better pics when I have a few more hatched out............JANI RULE!!!

Should be really interesting watching that one mature. Hope to see more pics of the brood.
