Steve,
The lighter colored one is the female. They've been housed together for over three years. They bred the second year and produced 15 babies (she was three, he four). I kept two. The one pictured is the lighter phase from the litter. The other is much darker. I look forward to seeing how their color developes.
My female has put on good weight and I'm hoping next year they'll breed.

They look much better when you are able to keep them like that.

Of course, with a larger collection it is hard to do and you have to keep them in easily serviceable cages.

Steve,
. Have you got a 2003 Cobra Mustang? I have a 98 SS Camaro and have been totally unimpressed with ANY Mustang since I drove a 68 Shelby GT350 when it was new. I have seen a couple of the 03 Cobras and they seem to be the first reasonably priced good Mustangs in 30 years:0)
