Just wondering if you can cross a rat snake with a kingsnake.... Or am I just looking for trouble by giving the king a special meal??
Have a 50/50 Cali king and an Oketee Corn.....
Thanks,
Rick

Whether or not you should is another issue. I don't really have much of an opinion on the matter. If you post this on the hybrid forum they might be able to show you some pictures of what those crosses might look like. The less two species are related, the harder it is to do. Rats and Kings are about as far apart as I see colubrid hybrids advertised.
From what I can tell, a very large number of egg-laying colubrids can hybridize with other genera and produce fertile offspring. There are only a few genera of egg-laying colubrids that I can think of which are not included in that mix or that are so hard to breed to their own species that nobody has tried it (such as Smooth Greens...).
