They are kind of leaning toward what I call "near anerys". Sometimes Anery Hets, though they are only hets, will look almost Anerythristic. This sometimes confuses folks who think that their Anery mysteriously gave birth an anery or two. Or did it? Usually not, and as time goes on, the normal colors come in.

Here are the crazy babies from my Hypo Jungle X Anery breeding still in the glorius goo:

Now that they have shed, many of them are leaning toward what I call the "near anery" look. Not anery but just muted RED influence. Pretty interesting I think:

A couple kind of dull color wise looking Hypos:

And a non-hypo looks almost anery:

I think this guy is kind of cute:

Anery Hets usually grow out of this showing normal colors after they shed a few times.

Jeff, which line of Anery did you use for this pairing! I know that the Hypo Het Anerys that Jesse Van Atta has produced from his Ivory Anery female have that muted, almost anery look.

Killer "Wiggles and Jingles" in those bad boys and girls!!!!

It's these kinds of observations that make this sooooo much fun.

Hey Jeff

Great litter. The patterns on your boas are unreal. I produced a similar litter and I was very happy wth the outcome. The anery gene definitely is one of my favorites.

She is a wild caught Anerythristic, but she is compatible with the Ivory Anerys. Same gene. That much I know from last years breeding.

Those are some awesome babies but I have to say that none of those babies look anery to me. I think aneries look the best when born and are almost silver and black.
