I just recently had 9 baby cal kings hatch out for me. I noticed when weighing them yesterday that one of them has what appears to be a tiny prolapse. Now I have been keeping snakes for almost 11 years but I have never had any experience with prolapses, thus I have very little idea about them. I barely even know what they look like. SO...I was hoping someone could let me know what to do about it.

Thanks
Mike

Is it from the umbilicus or the vent?

Keep it moist. If it's from the vent and can't easily be placed back in, then take it to the vet. If it's from the umbilicus, if it's just a little bit of fat or cord, then keep it clean and watch it. If it looks to have organs hanging out, then vet asap... keep everything moist.

It is from the vent. I have a vet visit tomorrow. Thanks for the help.
