Was emptying the dirt from a lay box today that a female of mine layed a clutch in about 3 months ago. While removing dirt I discovered an egg that I must have missed. This egg appeared in perfect condition...white and plump. This lay box has been sitting in my basement for 3 months at temps that hover around 65 F. The dirt was also bone dry because I had done nothing with it since the female lay her last clutch. I guess it just goes to show that BD eggs are damn tough. Just wanted to share.
