2009 BEST RED PHOTOSHOPPED IMAGE

JustinMitcham Jul 28, 2009 02:56 AM

This one of my best all time males.. or at least what I am looking for in a hog... this hog is so sick...that any picture I take looks 100% photoshopped...but this is really actually what he looks like..name a easy color reference and I'll snap a pick with him on it.

HUGE PERFECTLY GEOMETRIC SADDLEs

PERFECT SPACING

LARGE SIDE BLOTCHING

WHITE RIMS AROUND MARKINGS

SUPERCLEAN BRIGHT FIRE ENGINE RED BlOTCHES

AWESOME RED AND WHITE GROUND COLOR

And I love that faded center look..havn't seen many like that on these.
This is what I am after this is my perfect extreme red albino..some have redder ground color some even slightly darker red or other very cool and just as interesting traits. But to me this hog is perfection..100% balanced..and hopefully a preview of things to come!!

The only thing more fun than watching these show up on the forum must be hatching them out ... congratulations, you seem to be having one hell of a year! Adam

Justin,That is crazy lookin'!!Looks like it's hand painted!!A Nabisco(I think)cheese nip box would be a good background/color reference!I've used those in the past for corn snakes!Keep up the good work!! Jeff

Hi,
my name is marie
I´m new to this hognose forum.
I saw this incredible colored cutie, but something was wrong with the pic. After a few minutes of looking at it, I realized that the towel was red to.
Please don´t blame me for doing this, but I washed the red overlay away from one half of the pic.

Still impressive Justin!
There seems to be a wrong setting on your camera.

The paper towel looks wet to me, not red

JustinMitcham Aug 02, 2009 07:26 AM

yes the paper is wet.
I used flash on that pic..sometimes there's a sort of reflection when I use it up close...this is why I asked someone for a color reference and posted a pic of the snake on that reference.I also mentioned the pic looked photoshopped to me as well.
as for camera...I use a panasonic DMC-FZ50, settings on auto with the flash up. I think it takes awesome pics for the price and the fact i have no clue how to use it.
If I knew what I was doing I could perhaps take better pics.

In the moment you noticed that the flash change the right colors...switch the flash OF
and take care that you use a higher amount of light. But please don´t use the bright sun.

I use 3x40W neon lamp and change the white balanc to that point where the colors seams to be ok in the pics. The best color-test is the "colorscala"(?) from ph-test-sets

I hope this help

...for you.
With it I can control the right outcome of some colors and and have the time to change my settings in time an white balance

and nothing will crawl away
