just aquired two hatchlings: identification? (see pictures)

It's amazing how well word gets around that you are an animal/turtle person.

I've now adopted, under pressure from a friend, two softshell hatchlings previously belonging to an aquaintance of his. I've done some internet reading on softshells in general, but identification of these, as well as care info likely to be overlooked by someone used to caring for Sliders would be much appreciated. Picture links at the bottom.

I only looked at pic #1. If the other looks about the same they are both florida softys. I have little time on here right now. I will check back in a bit to see the other pics.

the first 2 pics are the Florida, the second two are another turtle, completely different in appearance.

Looks like a spiney soft shell or smooth. i am to dumb to tell the difference with a pic. Look the same to me. i'm pretty sure you care for them abou the same. Did you get this months reptiles magazine? it tells a bit about them in there. Sorry for the responce earlier. i had to leave right then.

You have yourself a baby florida softshell(apalone ferox) and what looks to me like an eastern spiny softshell(apalone spinifera spinifera).
