I know the initial breedings of Woma X Woma created Pearls which had some major failure to thrive and motor skills issues. But has anyone tried with outbreeding and new bloodlines to try to create a healthy Pearl?

to what i have read, i believe you have to make the gene "stronger" by mixing it with another morph..like breed the woma to a lesser then breed the woma lesser to another woma to produce a Pearl Lesser (Super Woma Lesser)...i think i read this on NERD's page...dont quite remember..

I have seen on his forum that he produced a pearl lesser in 2006 (or may be 2005). But I never heard more of it. I assume he didn't live either.

I assume other breeder have try it too. If we didn't hear more, I would assume that they either didn't live or not a lot of breeder tried to produce it, they used their woma for other stuff.

I remember that theory, but it makes no sense what so ever that the lesser (or any other morph) would do anything to make it a stronger snake.

So apparently there haven't been any successes reported, but has anyone other than NERD tried recently? Perhaps lines have been outcrossed enough to give it another go?

I don't have any Womas at all, btw.
