I have a clutch of eggs on day 49 and they started getting mold on them today. Should I ride it out with my fingers crossed, or cut.Any advice will be appreciated. Chris

First, candle them and make sure they are still good. Mold doesn't generally kill healthy eggs. Day 49 is a little early for cutting. Day 52 is usually the absolute earliest that it's safe. One way or the other, cutting isn't going to make them come out, so you'll probably be best waiting a few more days.
Chris go to your local drug store and buy some desenex athletes foot powder. Wipe the mold off the eggs with a moist rag ( just barely wet) and then sprinkle the powder on the eggs. This will help kill the mold and keep it from spreading. It works for me. Best luck.
