Finally..............

dmasio13 Aug 02, 2009 02:53 AM

Well this took me 3 years and finally I got a couple. 3 years ago I bred a spider het ghost to a het ghost with no honeybees and no ghosts. The following year the same spider het ghost to a ghost female and the same het ghost girl only 2 ghosts and a handful of spider 66% hets. This year I bred the spider het male to the original het ghost female and produced 2 female honeybees I was hoping for a male but beggars cant be choosers. Thanks for looking

Hey thanks for the kind words everyone. Yes I was pretty disheartened after the first year I was debating whether they were even hets or not, because I didnt produce a ghost but as I know all to well its possible to miss. I got the het female from Damian Saldago @ the Daytona show a few years back and the spider het male from Brian Sharp a few years back @ the Tinley Park show so I knew the breeders were reputable. Well then the 2nd I at least found out they were true hets, but to miss with 2 clutches that year I just wanted to cut my wrists. LOL... C'mon Jared so you can keep me in your pocket even longer lol. Matt yea they are nice size a little over 80 grams lets hope they grow fast.

Does it get any better than Hypo Spiders? I can think of only a handful of morphs I would rather have...Spider crosses rule, and every Ghost cross is amazing, so combine those two, and WOW.

That being said, I do not have one. One day...
Very nice clutch man, and worth the wait I would guess.
