Who has Super Hypo Nics?

symetryexotics Aug 02, 2009 03:35 PM

I have been posting about once every 2 months about trying to
find comparisons to my 06' male Poss Super Hypo Nic. I know I
am not the ONLY guy with these gems. Again here is some pics and
I truely hope someone will show me a Nicaraguan Super Hypo. Well
here is mine again. Inever get bored looking at this guy though.
Just INTENSE!! I have a Het Type II breeder female waiting for
this season, hopefully something will happen....

The Only pic I have of the Het Type II female- MEAN!!! Allthough
she does have some remarkable color, I am taking pics tomorrow
so I think with how the weather is I will take her outside

Sorry I forgot to say he is 66% het Type II as well, going to
prove out BOTH (no papers on the females)-could be tricky.

Thank you guys for looking at these again, I just hope this time
some Super Hypo NICS (CA is such a broad word) will get posted.
God Bless and hope to see some SWEET BOAS soon!!

That guy is awesome. I'd like you to look at my posting 2-3 days ago called "surprise surprise......." and tell me if the hypos in that litter look close to what he may have looked like as a baby....

symetryexotics Aug 02, 2009 04:16 PM

I am not sure about baby pics, I got him in mid-late 07' if my
mind serves me right. Does the 'firebelly' trait mean 'red belly'
or the Honduran Firebelly? Here is the most recent pic of a
feeding about a month or 2 ago.

Firebelly?? I keep thinking that term is Honduran. Shed some light??

Firebelly is Hypo?? If I am not specific enough, please, let me
know

I got him from vin russo and I would have to check my records to get the proper morph name. I was not too concerned with which side of the border the animal may be called. I owned a 33% share in a breeding farm in Nicaragua from 1994-1998 and animals were brought to us by locals to be used for breeding stock from all over the area into costa rica as well. As for what I was attempting to create was a choice hypo and some added color to go along with the lack of melanin. I was not shooting for a locality specific boa. What you think of what turned out?

symetryexotics Aug 02, 2009 05:06 PM

I think those Boas are very exceptional. I think the hidden Bonus
is a plus as well. Please get me the Info on that Boa. Coming
from Vin, if he said Firebelly, then it is Honduran. They are
ALL CA Locality none the less. Do you have more pics of the
Parents?? I love the Dirty CA Boas

I love CA boas I own a groups of bloods, T , hypos, and will add more for sure. The parents to the litter you just saw could of bred in a 32 quart sweater box theyre so small, i love that about them. Also you ever consider to plug some CA T into some of the stuff youre working with. I love the look of a nice CA T , in 2007 I picked up a couple of t males freshly imported ditectly from Nicaragua and are separate from the original lines of 10 years ago or so, main difference is that they're jaw dropping, I tried selling one to raise capital for a project and everyone said it was the nicest looking CA T they had ever seen. I changed my mind and kept him and the other which is even nicer looking I've never taken the time to show. The nicer T fathered a litter that hit ground last week and WOW! Is all I can say. Think of shooting some T in if you haven't already thought of it into some of that awesome stuff you got..

symetryexotics Aug 02, 2009 05:51 PM

The T Bloods would be sick! Also T Leopards also would be off
the chain!....not to mention the Motley and Hypomelanism to boot.

Im putting the Calico Sunset 50% het Albino to my Mystery Female
hopefully late this year, but I am not sure he will go or not.
The Leopards I feel is Dominant (visual het's), but that is a
debate for the future. I stuck inbetween the T , Leopard, and the
Motley to start. What do you think?? If there were a T het for
Type II Anerythristic, then I would totally get that! Then get a
Leopard that is het Type II to make (long term) T II Leo's het T
then (further down the road, beating the 66% hets) Snow Leo's!
Now dont forget about the Hypo as well, sounds like a dual out-
crossed project.... Hmmmmm.... I think I made my decision.....lol!

You're thinking long term mix all that you got going on intelligently and OMG! You have luck on your side that these CA boas go young and go strong. I'll keep my eyes peeled for some your stuff to come.

symetryexotics Aug 02, 2009 06:08 PM

I will be sure to keep you updated. It will be a LONG TIME, but
man it will be worth the wait! God Bless

I have a holdback from my most recent litter of central americans and I would like to further pair up with animals such as these from your litter. Please contact manny of perfect predators if any of these will be offered to others.

*The sheet the snake is on is navy blue, so the color is not completely accurate. Best that I can do so far.

This is a PRESUMED homozygous/Super salmon Central American boa constrictor that I recently picked up from Gulf Coast Reptiles. Chris McQuade and I wonder if something more than just the salmon trait may be going on, but only breedings will tell for sure. This one is a male. I am hoping to breed him this upcoming season and prove out that he is in fact a super salmon.

I don't have any supers yet, but I'm working on it. The best non-super hypo Nic I have is my girl "Eve." I know I've posted this picture before....

I plan on using her to make supers in the future.
