Strange insects in tubs....

bakeaway Aug 02, 2009 08:29 PM

I was feeding today and noticed this pinhead size black bug moving when I pulled the aspen back. It was more jumping than crawlong slowly. I have no idea wht it is?
I have never had them before, and I just moved into a new place and started seeing them.
Anyone know?

Thanks

Springtails (Collembola)-tiny and harmless scavengers on flecks of organic matter. More common in naturalistic vivaria than in snake cages because they tend to like higher humidity.
