cypress mulch for bedding?

hey ive never used cypress mulch before up untill now i bought a bag at home depot for like $3 really cheap and the bag says "cypress mulch blend contains cypress bark and wood" do you think this sounds safe i wuzint told that it may be mixed with toxic woods untill i had already had it in 2 snake tanks.....it sounds like its the bark and the wood of the cypress not a mix the brand is "royal gardens" if it matters.....but i jsut wnated to see what you pple thought? its the only cypress avalable here in michigan so i'm hoping its safe....thnx -josh

yeah cypress blend is totally safe i use it for all my cages :D

I would contact the manufacturer of the mulch. I have heard from a few different source that the "blend" is with CEDAR to help with bugs in the garden. If that is the case I wouldnt use it reguardless of how many people say they use it and its safe. Please keep us updated with any results.
