Two cool clutches

jbpythons Aug 03, 2009 12:12 PM

and here`s the second:
we bred a Spider het Piebald to a Piebald and got 6 eggs. Out of this
6 eggs hatched 3 Spider het Pied, 2 Pieds and one pure white snake.
We are very surprised and don`t know if the white snake is a Piebald or a Spiderpiebald. Herč the pic:

Congrats, I just did the same breeding and I too produced a all white snake. I was going to wait until it sheds to take some pics. I feel what we produced is infact a spider pied. I beleive that you can produce all white ones and also the all white with spider head. I nicknamed mine the white widow. Congrats again Paul at Steel City Exotics.

Sorry about all the typos in my last post. I was typing as fast as I could and at work at the time. I was just a little shocked that someone else did in fact produce the same thing I have been drooling over for the last six days. Like I said before I do believe that these are in fact spider pieds. My clutch consisted of 5 eggs which had two spider het pied, two pieds and the all white snake that I was referring to as a white widow. I will get some pics up within the next day or so. Congrats on a great looking combo. Paul

It`s good to hear, that some other white
snakes hatched from the same breeding.
I only saw a animal like that at the website from
Steve Roussis.

Yes, the Spider het Pied is from 07.
We go to the Hamm show, but only as visitors.
The day after Hamm we have a table at the BEE, near Hamm:

Jurgen,
i will drive up to Hamm Friday, go to the show on Saturday, drive back to Italy on Sunday.

if you are free Saturday during the show lets meet up for lunch and talk snakes.

i heard the BEE show is a nice one, depending what i hatch out next season i may have a table there next year too. for me to do any German shows it really has to be worth it to make the trip up. i will be at all the major Italian shows, you should make a trip to Italy sometime.

I think I'd call that pure white one a "perfect pied". That is as white as a ball python can get! Awesome snake!
