Somethin' for the Hillbilly.

juggalo Aug 03, 2009 03:59 PM

So we where at the Atlanta Show this weekend and we had a couple of bigger burms for a presentation well I was getting them ready and I hear from behind me "Hey Sam why didn't ya bring Ann~Thraxx?" I turned around and looked and there was this guy I had never met before so I said "Because no one get's to play with her but me. Who are you?" He explained " I am Happy Hillbilly."
Those who don't know Ann is a tad bit on the nasty side and he knew that I guess. And hell I don't even get over here very often or to very many forums at all anymore but he knew my snakes names and mine.
We talked for a while and I have to say while I was never quite sure how to take the guy on the forums. In person he was one cool guy.
Man Hillbilly thanks for stopping by the table man my wife and I enjoyed talking to you. If you are ever in our neck of the woods over here in South Carolina look us up.
Anyway here are some pictures of Ann~Thraxx I took for you this morning.

Hey Sam & Theresa!
I'm glad I got to meet ya'll. It can be hard to tell what type of person someone is just from reading their posts & without talking to them yourself. We've never exchanged PMs or talked to each other in forums but I thought we hit off it pretty good at the show. It was a pleasure meeting ya'll.

Your "down to earth" attitude played a big part but I think it's the "absolute passion" we share for Burmese pythons that was the main magnet.

Theresa, you seem to have a gift of talking to audiences like that. Keep at it, gal!

Talk about "...while I was never quite sure how to take the guy on the forums..." you shoud've seen the look on Andrew Wyatt's face earlier that day when I told him who I was. Ha! Ha!

I walked up to him and said, "I'd like for you to convince me to join your organization."

He smiled & said, "OK.

Me: "I'm Michael Sanders" (as I stretched out my arm to shake his hand.)

Him: "I'm Andrew Wyatt." (as he shook my hand)

Me: "I don't think you realize who I am.... I'm HappyHillbilly."

Him: "Ooohh."

I started laughing as I could see his thoughts on his face. "Relax, I'm not as bad as it may seem or that you think I am."

I told him that I just wanted for us to meet in person & I just wanted to hear his thoughts, ideas, philosophies, in person. We had a good talk. I didn't debate anything with him as my intentions were just to hear his side in person. No ulterior motives but to just find out where the fella's coming from & going to.

But anyway, the look on his face was truly priceless. And honestly? I can fully understand it. Ha! Ha!

Anyway, Sam & Theresa - ya'll need to become more active around here. Thanks for the pics of Ms. Ann! Yeah, she would've been a good one for those kind of presentations, 'eh? Hahaha!!! I figured ya'll get a kick out of that question. Like Theresa said, "Are you crazy???" Ha! Ha!

Ya'll take care and I'll be in touch.

Later!
Mike

I imagine the look was priceless. He and I did debate for about 30 minutes and agreed to disagree.

But you Mike it was great to meet you in person I really had no idea when you walked up who the hell you where and when you told me I just about lost it because just like me you very rarely bite your tounge and that can be fun sometimes.

At anyrate we are going to try to start doing that show in Atlanta if we can. As long as the bans don't go through I will do my best to make sure we are over there.

And like I said if you are ever over this way you are welcome to stop in.

Take care Mike and keep on enjoying them Burms.
