I purchased this snake at a reptile show last weekend and when I got home I realized I didn't know what species it is... I think it may be an Argentine rainbow but im not sure.
Thanks

a Colombian Rainbow Boa there. Although I don't keep them myself I know their husbandry requirements are pretty similar to the Brazilian Rainbow Boa, although they can get by with less humidity. Thats interesting that you bought it at a show and didn't come home knowing what species it is?? Just my opinion, so don't take any offence to it but the next time you purchase a snake you should probably, at the bare minimum, find out what species it is as well as basic care requirements. Anyway, the snake looks good!

I did go to the show planning on buying a rainbow boa, and I was aware of housing requirements. When I purchased it at the show the sticker on the case said "Rainbow Boa" so I first thought it was an Argentine but I wasn't sure and just wanted a second opinion.
pretty sure you got yourself a nice columbian, not the prettiest of rainbows in MY eyes specially as adults but when you got yourself a nice healthy adult and you take it out in the sun on a nice day, they sure do shine.
