Hatched this pair today!

Will be interesting seeing them change as they grow!
The Mystic project is going to produce a wide spectrum of interesting looks . We are just scratching the surface of the potential of this morph!

Anthony, those look really nice man. How does the one Potion you hatched out last time look now?

My Mystic male has really packed on the weight after his little fast, so I am hopeful that he and the Sulfur Mojave female lock up this year. Might try him to my Super Mojave female too, if she is ready.

David, I actually got a decent pic for once!!!!!

These crosses are just going to vary , kinda like how the Super Stripe and Puma stuff is working out. When 2 different mutant genes are on the same alleles then you can make all sorts of similiar yet different looks within I think!

I threw another pic in here too , thought she turned out good enough to share as well! She's one of my favorites!

Anthony,

I love the way those look. I like it that there is variability in what can be produced with similar pairings. I'm psyched to be getting my mystic female from you this week.

Very nice Anthony! Nice talking to you today! I agree that the mojave may have alot to do with variation! I'm chomping at the bit waiting for my mystic!!! Congrats

anthony james mc Aug 06, 2009 01:46 AM

Yes Alan I think the darker female Mojave I used this time really made the purple more intense than it did with the other 2 Potions I made using a lighter Mojave. The Mystic I used this time is actually a little nicer in looks than the Mystic sire of the other Potions, both Mystic breeders are sired by the original Import regardless so really the genetics are no different there. So I think the main variable to look at here must be the Mojave side of the equation. Mojaves do vary alot in overall color, some are alot darker than others. So knowing what we know now it will be really interesting seeing the full spectrum that will be made when Mojaves are crossed with Mystics or Phantoms!
