New Corns

guyergenetics Aug 04, 2009 09:59 PM

The UPS guy dropped off a 1.2 trio of het Striped Anery Lavender Corns today.

I got these little gems from Jenea Wood of Guardian Reptiles. The deal went smooth, the snakes look great, and I'm happy with the purchase.

I'm looking for the future offspring of these to phenotypically be:

27/64, Normal
9/64, Lavender
9/64, Striped
9/64, Anerythristic
3/64, Lavender, Striped
3/64, Anerythristic, Lavender
3/64, Anerythristic, Striped
1/64, Anerythristic, Lavender, Striped

This should be a fun breeding project.

Ohhh nice, I'm liking that group, envious actually. Purple stripers would be very cool. That will be a fun one. Nice buy. Best of luck with them.

All three have eaten F/T for me. Looks like they're going to do very well! I'm exited about this project!

It's nice to see that some one else like to play the numbers game....The odds may not be high, but if ya don't play ya can't get them either......Best of luck on an awesome trio.....

Thanks man!

The numbers game is the funnest part of this! The main thing I breed for is variety in clutches. I'm like a kid. I want to see as many different pretty colors pop out of a clutch as possible!

One rule that I also follow is to never breed one morph to the same morph. Het to het is cool but NEVER two same homozygous. I actually breed more to make hets than anything else because in the long run of things, I feel that it makes for more variety and stronger lines.
