mouse racks

lance69 Sep 15, 2003 08:23 PM

ok ok one more question and then i'll try not to bother you guys again.
when building mouse racks do people use 1/4 or 1/2 inch mesh for the top?
it just seems that 1/4 is a little small and it doesn't seem that 1/2 is to big
but most plans call for 1/4
not doubting them and am whiling to learn from others mistakes.
thanks for the help.........Lance............

it works.. it does look SMALL.. but thy figure it out soon enough.. just make sure to stack at least 1/2-2" of food over the mesh so the bottom food doesnt just roll around.. makes it easier for em

best of luck

What brand of dogfood do you use? I've heard that the red food dye in dog food can be harmful to snakes. Is this true?

1/4" works not bad but I have found that 3/8" seems to work even better if you can get it. You might have to special order it but if you can get it for close to the same price like I said it does seem to work better.
