Lavender Albino projects???

adogunnaike Aug 06, 2009 02:16 AM

Anyone have any Lavender projects going on? Or, maybe something in the near future. I saw a few clips of the Lavender cinny...truely a gem. I bet the Lavender Calico would be crazy

We have two clutches of Lavender X het hatching in a couple weeks, so lots of excitement about that here. I know its been done, but we'll be going for Dreamsicles next, and also I'm kicking around the idea of a Lave Fire and Lav bee project.....

I think anything that would look good as an albino will look even better as a lav!

Here are our current lavender projects:

lav x axanthic- slugged out, but we'll try again next year
lav x spider- eggs incubating now
lav x mojave- eggs incubating now (only 2 fertile)
lav x clown- eggs incubating now
lav x pied- nothing from this one yet
lav x black pastel- nothing from this one yet

These will give us a good start on the lavender crosses. Next year, we'll do axanthic, pied, and black pastel again, as well as lav x het lav.

I think pretty much any combo using the lavender will be awesome. I'm sure a lot of combos will be coming out over the next few years.
