Pink Albino Question

reptilicus81 Aug 06, 2009 10:16 AM

Hi,

I have a year old female albino from a het. to het. crossing. The sire is very high pink, in fact here is a picture showing his color at 7 years of age:

Anyways, his daughter (the year old female from above) has always been a fairly faded albino with lots of yellow accents, just since her last shed though, she has developed pink everywhere! Is it normal for an albino to start gaining color as she ages?

Thanks,
Amy

I've heard of and seen that before.... I believe the term many have used is "coraling up" If she constinues to gain that much pink with each she it looks as if you have a "coral albino"

side note: All of my albino's have gained color with age and really hope they continue to do so
