When to bring in the Uro's from outside?

btorgy Sep 15, 2003 08:46 PM

I live in Arizona, and the days are still in the low 100's F. But last night got down in the high 60's! I have a 160 watt UVB light on them, amazingly enough, which brings up the temps to around 110 F. They have an open sided (hardware cloth) pen, and I figure I'll have to close in the sides soon to hold in the heat. But I am concerned that the nights might be getting too cool! Any input is appreciated!

I was wondering the same thing. I still have mine outside without any artificial heat source.

The heat can go into the low 60's without a problem. They do come from a desert and almost all deserts have hot days and cold nights. So until it starts to go in the high 50's i wouldn't worry.
