Man, that is a tragedy.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Are you having a necropsy done on him?
I would, especially if he didn't show any signs of sickness.
How long did you have him?

I feel your pain..... last week I lost my constant companion of 18 years, my African Grey Parrot "Peanut".
I was and am devastated over him passing away, I'd had him since I was 6 years old. I had him necropsied and the vet found that he had a very rare form of bone cancer that gave no symptoms. I mean I played and ate breakfast with him that morning, left to go to the gym and came home to him dead on his playpen.

So, my advice is this, shed your tears, but try and remember the joy that he gave you and bless his little soul.

Regards,
Jen

BTW, feel free to shoot me an e-mail if you need to talk.

Dear Red,
I am very sorry for your loss.
I breed reptiles and I also founded The Reptile Rescuers.
I have baby balls in the rescue that are doing just fine.
They are healthy cb animals that are eating like pigs.
They came from a older gentleman who had too many reptiles.
He decided to turn them into the rescue.
I would be more than happy to replace yours with one from the rescue free.
E-mail me if you are interested.
