Dennis-

I have never used the stuff on live plants, I don't know if there is something in it that could kill the plant. I use soap and water on my plants to clean them. Soap and water also works great for killing ants on contact. The pothos grow HUGE fast! I have one in a 8" pot that fills a 2'x2'x4' cage top to bottom. Hope this helps!

Dennis-

Home improvement stores usually sell there plants cheaper then nurseries. You would have to be out of your mind to pay $24 for a pothos. Before you know it the pothos will need monthly pruning to keep it under control.
