which thermometers, hydrometers?

JonathanPG Aug 06, 2009 11:11 PM

ok so i have a clutch of eggs, and i put in two digital ones and two regular "sick" type thermometers, the ones filled with that red liquid, and for some reason the digital ones are 1-2 degrees higher than the other ones that have the red liquid in them, so the digital ones say 90/91 and the other ones say 88-90, so which one should i go with? please help, i don't want to cook nor under cook my eggs! thanks again!

I use the higher-end digitals. When in doubt check yours against a scientific grade thermometer (available online or at photography shops).

BTW-if you're measuring humidity, you need a "hygrometer" not a "hydrometer" (which measures salinity)...
