Xanthic quetions

My Hypo goini x ghost brooks just hatched and I am a little confused by the results. I expected them to be all hypo het anery and was hoping for some patternless or bright orange babies... with the patternless Goini influence. What I got was hypo babies all lacking red like the father, which I thought could be Xanthism. I will take some pics when they shed as they are looking kinda dull right now.

Give a re-read there Jeff your first sentence coincides with your second as you were expecting hypos het for Axan.

Q2: (which I thought could be Xanthism.) were they Xanthic or Axanthic looking.
Congrats on the hatch and i want to see the Babies as Cartman would say as he paces in front of the electronics store waiting for xbox, "C'mon C'monnn C'mon

Maybe I need to be more clear. My understanding:

Anery-lacking red and yellow
axanthic-lacking yellow
xanthic-lacking red--yellow replacing red making it predominantly yellow

This Goini cross hatched out a SOLID yellow, not a single reddish scale and he is the father of the clutch. There is not a single reddish scale on these, which is a bit different being only F1. Typical HYPO heads, they will shed out in a few days so be patient. In the meantime, look at this male, there should be some other color dont you think?

aSo you are saying the babies are just normal hypo looking?

..that they weren't as patternless as the male?

Maybe post pics so we can see what you are talking about.

Rainer, the first pic is alot like what the adult male looked like as a hatchling(a little more patternless). The yound are very much Brooksi influence, not much abbarrant patterns at all but all yellow and black...no red at all. Individually they dont look like anything you wouldnt expect, but given both the Goini influence and that the uncle was this Firecracker red...I was expecting at least a little red right?
