A secret litter from the Boa Vault!!!

cbmorphs Aug 08, 2009 11:53 PM

Here's another litter I planned on keeping secret until they reached breeding size, but I spilled the beans. I figured it would give me a head start at making Kahl line Sunglow & Albino Arabesque's aka ( Psychedelic Blood Transfusion and Transfusions or just plain old Bloody Arabesques stuff. Either way, they should be outstanding to look at no matter what name they're given!!! I originally picked that name for Bloody Sunglow Jungles, but these were first.

Here's the scoop,
These were made by breeding a very very nice Albino Arabesque (thanks Pete!) to a really nice Bloody Salmon (thanks John!). I couldn't be happier with the results.

They were born on 4/15/09 @ 103 days P.O Shed. There were 3 slugs 4 Hypo Arabesque, 2 Normal Arabesque, 3 Hypo double hets and 6 Normal double hets all very healthy except one! She's a Hypo Arabesque PIGGY, she literally has a pig like appetite! I could probably feed her every other day, but I won't for obvious reasons. She has a very nice red color to her and is already twice the size of her litter mates! She's the only one in the litter with these colors, really cool! I can't imagine what she'll look like when she reaches adult size. All the Arabesque in this litter are colorful and unique, even the Normal Arabs.

Unveiling the babies these produce someday should be really nice...can't wait!

Here's some photo's, enjoy!!! I'd say keepers to all of them!

Copulation!

Gravid

Fresh babies!

Post shed, older pics. They've all shed 2 times since these were taken. Some of them are even more colorful now!

Hypo Arabesque, the only one out of the litter with color this intense! She's also little miss piggy, the one that eats a lot.

Hypo Arabesque male with odd colored tongue.

Hypo Arabesque male

Hypo Arabesque female

Normal Arabesque female, she has really nice colors and tail patterns. She's in her shed mode.

her tail shot

Normal Arabesque male with rich colors and really nice patterns.

Hope you enjoyed and thanks for looking!

I'll post updated pics of these and the siblings soon....

Yes it was taugh keeping it secret, but I could've made it. I ended up letting someone pry it out of me. I figured if I didn't post this, someone else might say something and ruin the surprise. I still a couple other projects I'm working on that will remain locked up.

She's an 05 Bloody Salmon I purchased from John at SalmonBoa.com.
The male is an 07 purchased from Pete Kahl, both awesome guys to deal with.

Thanks,

YAH, I really wanted to keep it secret. I was hoping to be the only one working on this project, at least until I produced the Psychedelic Bloods (Bloody Sunglow Arabs) and Arabesque Transfusions (Bloody Albino Arabs) . By showing these now, I'm sure I'll have some contenders to deal with in a year or so, maybe not? I do still have the running lead by being the first to produce these hets! Also, I'm going to keep all the Arabs in this litter to better the odds!
I have a couple other projects I lucked out on this year too!

Thanks,
Chaz Neely

They might not be much to look at for now, but the babies some of these produce will be! I still can't believe I actually produced them and it's been 4 months now... Thanks and congrats on your most recent Blood litter! Very red! Chaz Neely constrictors@comcast.net
