Weight for breeding?!?

chefquinlin Aug 09, 2009 02:06 AM

What is a good weight for my female western hogs to breed them at? Everyone says to wait to years, but they don't always grow at the same time. Any info would be nice. Thanks.

I would say the bare minimum would be 200g, 250 better and 300 optimum.

i have always used the 200 gram number as my minimum weight.
obviously 250g or 300g would be better but i have hd no problems at 200g and produce good healthy babies.

now i have a question..
what is the minimum weight for a male????
i have always waited untill the male was at least 100g, but now a few people have told me that a 50g male is breedable.
has anyone had any sucsess breeding a 50g male ???
