As some of you may remember earlier this yr I bred my Female Black Pine snake to an Applegate Sandiego Gopher Snake. Well all 15 eggs are looking good and have swelled up within the past few days, the big day is not far off. How many albinos can I expect from this clutch if any and what will be a good marketing price ?
Can I sell them as straight Black Pines also ?

I hope you are joking. If not, the only use I see for them is Micrurus food. Some people these days...Andy

Well....honestly, I can tell you this....

You will not get any albinos unless your black pine was het. That is very unlikely.

Also, you may not be able to even give them away, as most people into pits do not like crosses like this and may persuade you to freeze the babies.

Last, you can't sell them as straight ANYTHING. Why didn't you just get mates for each one and then breed those? There is a demand for both, but not for a hybrid of both.

Most of us here, if not all, will disagree on your breeding of these two snakes together. I for one am glad you are in here, out of all of the forums you could be in, as we really care about our snakes.

By the way, what is your favorite Sepultura album? Mine is Beneath The Remains.

I wonder if this is a joke?????......oh well....

Yea man my favorite Sepulutra album is Arise and Roots. Thanks for your info. Who knows what i'll do with the eggs then.

Bacon and Hybrid Egg Casserole
Ingredients:

4 bacon strips
15 hybrid pituophis eggs
1 cup milk
1 cup (4 ounces) grated Longhorn cheese
1 cup (8 ounces) sour cream
1/4 cup sliced green onions
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Remove to paper towel to drain. In a large bowl, beat eggs. Add milk, cheese, sour cream, onions, salt, and pepper. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Crumble bacon and sprinkle on top. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the center comes out clean. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Serves: 8 to 10

Selling them as straight Black Pines would be misrepresentation. Not a good idea. It would be detrimental to your reputation.
