Now THESE are some cool babies! (DUW)

waspinator421 Aug 09, 2009 02:38 PM

My Korben / Nermal clutch has finally shed! Got a bunch of pics taken yesterday, and will be offering their first meals today. Crossing my fingers that at least a few of them eat right off the bat!

The sire, Korben, a Dan Vermilya White Leonis:

The dam, Nermal, a Russ Bates Split-Band Leonis:

Unfortunately no Whites in this group, but there is one or two that is very close!

Here they are:

09LmtKoNe01 - Female

09LmtKoNe02 - Female

09LmtKoNe03 - Male

09LmtKoNe04 - Female

09LmtKoNe05 - Female

09LmtKoNe07 - Male

09LmtKoNe08 - Male

09LmtKoNe09 - Female

09LmtKoNe10 - Male

09LmtKoNe11 - Male

09LmtKoNe12 - Female

09LmtKoNe13 - Male

09LmtKoNe14 - Male

09LmtKoNe14 - Male

Jarvis / Zoot babies hatched the other day and man are they cool looking too!

The sire, Jarvis, a Vivid line Zipper pattern Orange Leonis:

The dam, Zoot, a Pin-Banded Leonis that was possibly produced by Alec Estabrooks, but don't have that confirmed:

Most of the eggs in this clutch were bad, but 4 did make it. One hatched out of a really gross looking egg!

The little spotty one is of course my holdback, and female to boot! Definetely going to have to try this pairing again next year!

Aubrey,
WOW....Those are nice....
I like the high band counts on some of the ones from the Korben X Nermal clutch.....
Awesome light ground colors too....

Hope they all eat for you....
That second clutch is looking good too...
Can't wait to see some post shed pics of them.

Aubrey,

Very cool. You should consider holding back that male #13 MSP with all the black cross overs too. He is VERY unique looking.

PS. You have two #14s in the Korben and Nermal pics.

Thanks Craig! That MSP male is pretty neat. I like his little black line that goes through the light part on him... lol if you can figure out what I am talking about. Not sure if I'll hold him back though. Would be neat to breed for bi-color Thayeri like with the Pueblans, but I don't know if I'll be doing that any time soon.

Whoops! Thanks for the correction! That is supposed to be #15! Too bad I can't go back and edit... oh well!
