European and Asian Ratsnakes hatching...

sjohn Aug 10, 2009 03:11 PM

My Cave Rats are always the first to hatch for since they breed so early. All these guys in a wad remind me of the Garters I used to find the summer I spent in Washington as a kid.

These nice and fat Ladder Ratsnakes also hatched out this past week...I think hatchling scalaris are some of the most attractive of all the ratsnakes. These guys are of a French locale. Much more to hatch over the next few weeks--Scott

Very nice!,...

I also took a long look at your website, and was very impressed with all the details of their unique phenotypes, as well as all their different individual localities.

Our boy Nathan Wells takes some fabulous field shots, huh?. I've always been very impressed with his documentation of things as well.

take care, ~Doug

Thanks for the compliments. Nathan is a great guy and was kind enough to let me use some of his great field shots along with lining up some of his herping buddies pics too. I like habitat shots about as much as photos of the animals.
