My Sharp Albino female has some major issues. I have had a bad shed or 2 before but this girl it is every single time. No matter what, I have tried a moist nestbox type thing, I have kept her in a humid bin, I spray daily and still no luck.
She will go into a shed phase and literally just leave it all on till it is wrinkly and tight. Then pieces just fall off.

So every single shed now for 10 months I have to wrestle this girl in the sink for a good hour and peel off every single scale and eyecap.

I am beginning to think its some kind of skin issue. I just can't see why the breeder never mentioned anything at all during the year and a half they had it.

Is there some sort of vitamin or supplement I could give to ensure healthier sheds? Even her old skin seems thin and very breakable to all my other snakes?

Please Help this has become such a stressful event every 30 days for me and the snake both. Almost thought of giving up on this girl a few times and she is definatly not coming out of quarantine any time soon.

Snakes that don't eat for a long time can develop really
thin skin and have shed problems.
I wonder if she's having nutrient/calorie issues maybe
some internal parasite.
I'm just throwing some possibilities out
there for you to consider.

I dont know if this is good or bad, but I use virgin oil for
situations like that. Lighten it on a laundry towell, make sure
is barely is on him/her. I takethe water dishes and such out
due to if he/she drinks the oil, it can and will fill her lungs
and make her pass (fatal). It does sound bad, but has worked for
me under close supervision. A tub with not a lot of room to move
would work just fine. Also check the whole body for 'bent' scales
because that could be the whole reason.
