cochran Aug 10, 2009 07:14 PM

Well my Miami babies are hatching! These are from w/c parents. This has been enlightening so far for me.I've always heard about how unpredictable these guys can be but, never saw it firsthand! Most of the ones that are out look alot like okeetees!I have a couple that have the light ground color. Most of them have red bellies? Crazy stuff!! Jeff

Tom, Thanks for the reply,I checked in on them early this morning and noticed that all 20 of them hatched! They didn't appear as red as they did earlier, they had that grayish look about them that hatchlings get after a day or two,

The wonderful part about Miami's is that they only get better with age, I hatched some Anery Miami's this year, I can't wait to see what they look like this time next year.......

I can't recall ever seeing one either. One thing is certainly for sure, it would be very gray!..LOL!!

By the way, nice Miami babies!
