OT: VERY RARE BOA

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Aug 11, 2009 12:11 PM

This morning I received a shipment from Europe with this NICE trio of Turks and Caicos Isle Boas. The scientific name is Epicrates c. chrysogastor and these are incredibly rare in collections here in the U.S. Hopefully with the 5 more snakes that are already here these will help build a nice nucleous of breeding stock and in time they will be more common in Herpetoculture. Also these snakes are variable and can be striped or completely without pattern. I used to breed these back in the day and neonates are tangerine orange in color. A large adult only reaches 5' in length and they NEVER bite...
