MR BLUE...SUPERB C. LEWISI

TOM_CRUTCHFIELD Aug 11, 2009 06:30 PM

Here is a pic taken about 1984 with a breeding pair of C. lewisi in one of my early Cyclura breeding enclosures. At this time period I bred only a few species of Cyclura, Radiated Tortoises, and a Few Croc species. This was Mr Blue, my personal favorite lewisi. He sired a number of litters in his life though and was a magnificent lizard. He died on breeding loan at Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Tx...RIP

Tom that is an extremly incredible animal! Thanks to everyone who participates on this forum its the only one I look at when I have a little free time. Not that I don't enjoy other animals but this interests me the most.
Tom will we see you in Daytona this year? I introduced myself to you and Patty last year. I was the one with the yellow pectinata's.

Excellent! Hopefully you'll have some cycluras.

The amount of lizards (or lack of) is always disappointing at Daytona...
