I picked this guy up about a week ago. He doesn't look like either of my other albino balls nor any I have ever seen in person. His yellow blushes all over and his head is solid yellow. The pics were taken outside, overcast day, no flash. Could just be a regular albino and I'm not going to get my hopes up, but if anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it!

Thanks,
Clint

Its a low contrast albino.

Does the yellow coloring fill in as the low contrast albinos age/grow or is it present upon hatching?

Thanks,
Tom

They tend to bleed yellow into the white and have a yellow head as they age.

I think you got it correct.....bright yellow pops up all over them at times , usually with age....

.....amel is amel...there are all colors of them out there....light,dark,2 toned, 3 toned...orange spotted....almost white babies...I get all kinds.....

....good luck...

Albino color bleeds as they get older -- some more than others -- think someone decided to put a name on it a while back so they could charge more -- but it's still an albino.

Good luck with your new addition.

I believe that nice young lady Christy Talbert who posts on here now and again has a very, very nice Yellow Headed Albino Ball Python. I am not sure of the genetics (if any) associated with hers or your snake, however, I would contact her about this topic if I were you.

my adults look the same, but brighter, stronger orange - so i think you have an adult low contrast. albinos are highly defined / contrasted as yearlings and the colors "bleed" as they become older. in my opinion they get prettier.

this is one of my adult males.

Have a similar male, hope it's genetic.

Thanks to everyone who responded, I really appreciate the input. I should have this guy locked with an albino and a het this year, so I will let you know if I see anything more than expected!
