I think that one of my baby boas has internal parasites. He has loose stools and im pretty sure i saw some casts in one at one time. is there anyway to deal with this without having to pay 300 vet bill just to get told he has worms? which i already know...

When you say casts, are you talking about tapeworm segments or something else?

Flagyl usually works and you can get it from reptile supply houses.

Flagyl or metronidazole is only effective against amoebas and flagellate protozoans. It will have no detrimental effects on any other reptile parasites as in any of the numerous types of nematode worms, tapeworms, or flukes. It is great at what it does against the two target groups above, but it will not be effective against the majority of reptile parasite species.
