TimS Aug 15, 2009 05:09 PM

Ello all I don't post in this forum often (mostly in rainbows) but figured i would post a few pics, I also could use some opinions on one of the snakes.

first up is sheba, would you say this is a snow or a albino? my friend bought this snake as a adult along with a anery het albino adult about a year ago and cant remeber if it was a snow or het snow.

female

this is all the orange the snake has on it

next up this is anarchy, a male anery het for albino

then we have naranja, male coral albino

Last we have mystique, she is a poss het albino but for some reason reminds me of a jungle or a bcc cross. Opinions more than welcome on this snake also

all input is greatly apreciated

You have some beautiful Boa Constrictors. Mystique does look very much like a BCI x BCC... the head gives it away.

yeah and it sucks that i have no back info on her. My friend aquired her a few years back from a random seller. either way whatever she is, she is a great snake. awesome feeder great temper and all around pretty animal. we shall see what pops out when i breed her to the coral albino this year.

the one looks like a snow and if not its a extremely faded out albino! and the other one looks like a normal coloumbian to me sometimes they have spots on the head or hollowed out saddles but all in all she looks like a common bci regards

thanks for your input. I have always thought she is a snow especially when i heard what the price tag was when my friend bought her lol. I hope more people give there input.

as far as the "normal" goes even if it is, she is still a great snake and i think when i get a jungle male and breed it to her in 2-3 years that i will get some great babies. but for this season its the nice coral albino being bred to her and correct me if i am wrong but the coral albino is from the kahl strain albino correct? so if it turns out that she is het albino, i would still get albino babies correct?

I am still learning this whole bci genetics and differnt strains etc.

I actually thought the ablino was infact just an albino. I ususally see the snows have more of a lavender type color towards the tail

thanks for input. i wish gaines reptiles was up and running but it is changed to just a main page saying email or call.

I have not seen many at all adult snows and wish some1 in the forum would post some pics but my earlier request went unheard.
