Sanitizing the enclosure

bolandess Aug 16, 2009 07:00 PM

I remember reading that a mixture of vinegar and water will sanitize the enclosure. Has anyone heard of this? If not, what are some suggestions?

Conditions:
55g glass aquarium
4yr old BCI
Forest moss substrate

Thanks for the help!
Bo Landess

I have been using diluted chlorahexidine (virosan) for years with great results. I use it to clean the cages, glass, and water bowls. The only thing I rinse is the water bowls. I love this stuff !!! Bill
