Got 2 calls this AM- one for a young atrox (took off by the time I got there), and for a large t-rat.

T-rat turned out to be a large black-necked garter, STUFFED with a large toad, and the bonus was that the guy spotted another snake just before I got there, while keeping an eye on the garter. First one I've seen/caught here- VERY nice!

Nice big black-neck... unfortunately, he regurgitated the toad on the way home with him. The boy and I are going to head out tonight to grab a couple for these two!

It's just begging to get killed for being a Copperhead...suprised it's even made it this far in life.

What is that first snake? Looks almost like an A contortrix, is it a hognose? Doesn't quite match anything I'm familiar with around here.
The garter is awesome, still hoping to find one someday..

Still have it- was going to go grab it one more toad tonight for the road, let it digest a couple days and release it.
