62.5% Suri Sharp Albino Hets born!

TopNotchBoas Aug 19, 2009 12:32 PM

My buddy Adrian had this incredible litter that I wanted to share with you guys. We've both been blown away by some of the results we've seen from crossing BCC into albinism. Adrian decided he wanted to take that to the next level. He already had some of the best locality stock on the planet so the only thing he needed to find was the right albino to incorporate into the project.

Along comes big Mike with this 25% Guyana Sharp albino male that Adrian had to have:

When I visited Adrian to check out this animal for the first time I was literally stunned. I've seen a good number albinos in my day but nothing like this. He is really something to behold in person.

Last December Adrian paired up the 25% Guyana Sharp with his top female Suriname. This is her:

And on Monday, August 17th she produced this healthy litter of 17, 62.5% BCC 100% Het Sharp Albinos:

Check out the side diamonds and overall coloration. Looks pretty darn BCC, eh?

Exciting stuff!

Does anyone know if any albinos or hets have been produced yet (in captivity) with more BCC blood than BCI?

Wow, those are really nice! Great job on that pairing, looks like it paid off! The sire is awesome, very vibrant colors, the dame is very rich in color too!

Congrats to your friend, nice pics too, really shows their colors...
