Spider Pied Cutch

steelcityexotics Aug 19, 2009 01:00 PM

Well I finally got around to taking some pics of my spider pied clutch so I thought I would share some pics. I know that I really need to learn how to use this new camera so please excuse the crappy pics lol. I bred a pied female to a male spider het pied and out of 5 eggs I have two male spider het pieds, two female pieds and a male spider pied that is pure white from head to tail. I was very excited when this little guy was coming out because I thought that this was the only one but another gentlemen did produce another on just like it and posted it on the forums about a week ago. I thought I was finally going to get to nickname something lol. Well I am still calling my little guy white widow lol. I hope everyone is having a great season. Take care. Paul at Steel City Exotics.

Jurgen is from Germany, you're from the states.

i would go ahead and give it a US name.

from what i know you're the first american to produce one right?

Actually I just did not put up any pics on the forums because I was waiting for them to shed out. but I think that it is the same as Steve Russo white wedding. I really dont care too much at least its a male and it really is a cool looking snake. I mean I have super lessers and they are white but not pied white. Take care. Paul

Awesome clutch!

I'm curious about it's eyes, I can't see from the pics you have.

Anything about that snake have a trace of Spider characteristics?

Bad a$$ clutch! I just hatched out some Spider Het Pieds, so your clutch interests me that much more.

Thanks for sharing!

Sorry about the bad pics. The eyes are black with very deep red irises. As far as spider characteristics its pure white not a trace of anything. No wobble and very proportioned head and scales. Thanks Paul @ Steel City Exotics

I really liked the yellow headed spider pieds produced early on but if I had known they could also come out all white I might not have just traded off my 07 spider long shot possible het pied for rats.
