Casper California Kingsnake

An Albino Ghost California Kingsnake.

A few years back I bred an Albino High White male to my female Ghost (het albino). I kept an Albino (het Ghost) male and 2 double hets (Albino & Ghost) from that clutch. I bred them this year and here is a "CASPER CALIFORNIA KINGSNAKE" from the first clutch. Already shed and fed. I have another clutch hatching now and I have another "CASPER CALIFORNIA KINGSNAKE" in that clutch as well.

Casper California Kingsnake = Albino & Ghost
Blizzard California Kingsnake = Albino & Hypermelanism
Purple Passion California Kingsnake = Lavender & Hypermelanism

And NO, the Ghost gene is not the same as hypermelanism (Mendota & Davis) as I bred a Ghost to a Mendota a few years ago and got double hets.

That's pretty cool looking. Do you have any idea how it will turn out?

Did people actually believe they were the same gene? That's surprising because they look nothing alike.

The reason I made the comment about the Ghost not being the same gene as the hypermekanism gene is that the Casper and the Blizzard look similar.
