John,
I will do you one better.

Here is "jalapeno"

and he is the grandfather of what I just produced. This snake was produced by Pete Triem ( he is the guy that Applegate got his stuff from years ago).Dan Grubb got him a long time ago along with a sibling female that has since passed. They in turn produced this real nice female.

A couple years ago they produced this real nice male.I wouldn't call him a hypo cause his black is still real black but he is a super light phase.

There was one other pretty light phase male in the clutch and the rest where all normal looking.I ended up with a couple of the normal looking sisters to this guy.
I also bred this super light phase male back to his mom this year and only three eggs hatched but two of them where super light phase ( probably markers for the hypo gene) and I posted them last month.

Then just a few days ago the litle clutch of three hatched from the super light phase male to one of his normal looking sisters.

And thats how we got to what we just hatched.I can't wait for next year to see if I can get bigger better clutches for a better sample.

That is even more awesome that you produced that extremely hypomelanistic neonate from a slightly light phased male and a "het" normal looking female.....And that they all came from normal looking lineage.....

Makes me wonder what this thing was that I purchased in 2000 at a ETHS show in Houston......
It was sold to me as a Greeri, but I didn't think it was after years in the hobby.....

Yikes! I picked up a pair of hets last year, but they won't produce for a few years. I hope I get some as nice as that.
