If I was to make caramel glows by breeding a male caramel to two different unrelated ghosts and then breeding the double hets with different moms together should I expect kinked offspring or is that outbred enough
Thanks

You would have to outbreed with Caramels and not the Hypos, you could also swap a double-het male with another breeder and thus have totaly unrelated stock.
Most folks I've spoken with have said that even outbred caramels show a percentage of kinked offspring. It seems to be an unavoidable byproduct of the gene. Of course, any caramels crossed with ghosts would be outbred by definition-no need to use different ghost lines....

I was listing to reptile radio and Mr. Graziani mentioned he didn't get a single kink in the carmels he hatched. If memory serves me correct it has to do with the temp there incubating at.
however, I believe the Caramel kinking issues have been DRAMATICALLY overstated -- there are more than a few breeders that have been producing perfect Caramels for years that would agree. Good luck with your Glow project -- worth the effort and time for sure!!!
