The first clutch of Outcross Blood X Outcross Blood has begun to hatch. 1/4 of these should be Bloodreds. I also just found out that the Grandfather to these is het Amel, so we might have a shot at some Fires out of this clutch.

Very cool!,......the diffused gene x amel really does produce a strikingly vivid orange/red animal.

I agree, the Amel Bloods are as pretty as a papoose in a red hat.
Hopefully we get lucky. Let's see, 1 in 4 shot at Bloods in this clutch and in the clutch from the other Outcross Blood female. Grandaddy is het Amel. The parents of these clutches would be 50% het Amel.....Not much of a chance at Amel Bloods but still a chance. Fingers crossed.
