The Wonder Ball

craigstewart Aug 21, 2009 05:35 PM

We were taking some photos of an animal that we imported recently from Togo and thought some of you might like to check him out. This guy is crazy looking and one of the most unusual balls we've ever seen before. Unforutnately the camera doesn't capture his true appearance but hopefully you get the idea. He's sunshine yellow, caramel and denim blue. In fact it's the blue on him that we find most unique. We've seen blue on Chondros butthis is the first that we've seen blue on a ball before. We're pumped to have him in our collection and can hardly wait to prove him out. We've named him The Wonder Ball.

Thanks for checking him out and all the best!

Best regards,

It looks like the snake the Bell's had a long time ago they called the stone washed. It was bred to dozens of females the offspring never produce anything. Maybe you will have more luck with it then they did. The only thing they did produce was cool jungle looking animals that were co-dom.

He's awesome! I can't wait to see the pics of little babies hatching that look just like him. Good luck with that one.

As long as it doesnt end up being some dirtyheaded co-dominant BEL complex like 4 1/2 out of 5 new morphhs are these days...please God a reccessive with that Chondro blue - WOW! I am getting hot!

If you had a belly pic you would care to share...txs.

I hope it works out.

Don't go looking for snakes--you might find them.

Hi Craig,

There are a couple of these that look very similar around in the Ball python community, don't think they have been proven out yet ... although I hope they do as they would be a great combo maker. The fact there is more than one means this genetic mutation must be reproducible.

Good luck with him.
cheers, John
