Amel Clutch with "hidden" traits

camby Aug 22, 2009 07:43 PM

I bred a Sunglow Motley het anery to an Amel het caramel and sunkissed. I wasn't aware of any other traits. Apparently both parents were het stripe and the amel female was het motley also. I got normal amels ranging from looking like sunglows to plain amels and the stripes and motlies are very colorful.

I am a terrible digital photographer but thought I would share anyway.

That's a very good looking clutch! This is what's cool about Corns...they're always full of surprises.

Agreed, waiting for clutches to hatch is torture. I have three more clutches to hatch in the next few weeks and it is killing me!

Thanks for the kind comment.
